At the meeting, DRAGON Institute - Mekong has introduced collaboration relationship between the institute and DRAGON network and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The delegate has been informed of research and application of GIS and Remote Sensing in management of environment and natural resources. The Institute was also introduced research projects being implemented as well as orientation of future research themes of the DRAGON Institute – Mekong.
The USAID delegate has in turn presented their plans and direction in implementation of the projects that are both sides concerned. The both sides also discussed on future cooperation in carrying out research activities to adapt with future changing climate.
