The DRAGON Institute and the South Korean experts discussed social and economic development of the Mekong Delta region in the scenarios of climate change and sea-level rise.
Mr. Chung Heuk Jin, who is specialist in environmental policy and international cooperation and Mr. Kim Do Kyong, who has expertise knowledge of environmental management and information technology, are representatives for the South Korean delegation.

During the meeting, the DRAGON Institute and the South Korean experts discussed social and economic development of the Mekong Delta region in the scenarios of climate change and sea-level rise. Thus, proposed strategies for the Mekong Delta region to deal with the impacts of climate change and social and economic development in the direction of eco-friendly development based on knowledge and technology of South Korea.
The meeting has facilitated favorable conditions to strengthen the DRAGON Institute's cooperation relationship with the experts of Vietnam and the South Korea in the cooperation program as well as other organizations of the South Korea in the future.
