Executing activities related to “Communication and Dissemination” about groundwater depletion and land subsidence

DRAGON Institute and Mr. Klaus Sattler discussed about the directions of cooperation. This will facilitate the staffs of Can Tho University and DRAGON Institute to join into the training courses organized by NSHD-M to strengthen the capacity on sustainable hydropower development.

 At the meeting, Mr. Klaus Sattler introduced the Network for Sustainable Hydropower Development in the Mekong Countries (NSHD-M). The network was established to share knowledge and experiences, and strengthen the capacity of stakeholders on sustainable hydropower in the Mekong countries. 

Moreover, Mr. Klaus Sattler also introduced about the training programs and experimental researches which were developed by NSHD-M, especially training courses about the impacts of hydropower development to society, economy and environment.

Through the meeting, DRAGON Institute and Mr. Klaus Sattler discussed about the directions of cooperation. This will facilitate the staffs of Can Tho University and DRAGON Institute to join into the training courses organized by NSHD-M to strengthen the capacity on sustainable hydropower development.
