On February 10th, 2020, DRAGON-MEKONG Institute had a warm meeting with Professor Mart Stewart (Professor of History Affiliate Professor, Huxley College of the Environment,
Western Washington University) and Mrs. Ly Lan, a celebrated translator, who translated sucessfully the a series of fantasy novels – Harry Potter.
On the side of the institue, there were representatives of the Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen Hieu Trung – Director, Associate Professor Doctor Le Anh Tuan - Vice Director and
staffs of DRAGON-MEKONG institute as well as teachers and students from School of Foreign Language.
At the meeting, Prof Mart Stewart presented a seminar on “Recent Developments in Ecocriticism". During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trung and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuan also shared
the effects of climate change on the Mekong River Basin. The meeting was a great chance for the universities to share their experiences in interesting field and seek the collaboration
opportunities.
