On March 4th, 2020, at the office of Research Institute for Climate change (DRAGON-MEKONG Institute), Mr. Vuong Viet Hung-Vice Director of Package WB9 Project, Project Management Unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, had a visit and working session with CTU around bilateral cooperation and development in the consortium named “Mekong Delta climate change”.
Attending the meeting, on the side of CTU, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Hieu Trung –Director of DRAGON-MEKONG Institute, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Duy Can – Dean of College of Rural Development, Mr. Le Thanh Son – Secretary of CTU.
At the meeting, both sides assessed that the consortium has had a great potential to develop and collaborate insititues and universities in the Mekong Delta in addressing cross-disciplinary issues. The working session was the promising first step of developing the consortium at regional level.
