On April 19th, 2020, a launch event for the project “Inow Asia: Development of Innovative multilevel formation programs for the new water leading professionals in Southeast Asia” was taken place at the hall of the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Can Tho University. The main speaker of the event was Associate. Professor. Doctor Nguyen Vo Chau Ngan – a lecturer of the College of Environment and Natural Resources, CTU. The seminar was attended by over 40 lecturers and students.

Can Tho University is one of the partners in the Inow Asia project, framed in the Erasmus+ programme. The project is coordinated by the University of Girona (UdG). They aim to collaborate with universities from the University of Barcelona, ​​Mediterranean University (Spain), Institute of Technology of Cambodia and University of Battambang (Cambodia), National University of Laos and Souphanouvong University (Laos), Hanoi University of Science, Hanoi National University and Can Tho University(Vietnam) to contribute to the postgraduate studies in the field of the innovative management of water resources and sustainable development, as part of the masters and doctoral programs that already exist in Southeast Asia.
