On April 27, 2021, The Research Institute for Climate Change (DRAGON Institute), Can Tho University in collaboration with the Can Tho City Climate Change Working Office (CCCO) and the InsuResilience Solutions Fund Management (ISF) organized an online seminar "Climate risk insurance solution for Can Tho city".

The objective of the seminar is to provide an introduction to possible climate risk insurance solutions for Can Tho and assess the priority and needs of Can Tho regarding climate risk insurance as a possible complementary measure to manage climate risks.

The workshop was attended by nearly 30 representatives from the Departments and Associations of Can Tho city, Can Tho Water Supply and Sewerage Company, Can Tho Power Company, Can Tho Telecommunication Center, German Bank for Financial Development Cooperation in Vietnam (KfW), Vietcombank Can Tho Bank.

At the workshop, delegates heard presentations and discuss about Climate Risk Insurance and possible Insurance solutions for Can Tho.
