On May 22nd 2013 by occasion for visiting Vietnam, experts of International Foundation for Agricultural Development came to see and find out the DRAGON Institute – Can Tho University. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Tri, the DRAGON Institute director and his staffs have warmly welcomed the visitors.

 During the meeting, the DRAGON Institute discussed with the IFAD experts on situation of climate change and adaptation and mitigation in the Vietnamese Mekong Delta. In addition, the DRAGON Institute introduced research activities and programs related to climate change and sea level rise and research projects and programs of adaptation for agriculture and aquaculture in context of climate change.

After the meeting, the IPAD experts and the DRAGON Institute figured out research collaborations in the future, focusing on agriculture production under climate change and sea level rise particularly.
