On 2nd and 3nd, December, 2021, the Research Institute for Climate Change (DRAGON-Mekong Institute) in collaboration with College of Environmental and Natural Resources organized the webinar “Improving surface water quality management towards the master development of the Vietnamese Mekong Delta”.

 

The objective of the workshop was to discuss and consult with experts and scientists on specific conditions and activities to develop a planning strategy for monitoring surface water resources. It also aimed to discuss and consult with stakeholders on the potential development of strategic planning for surface water resources monitoring at the regional level for the Mekong Delta.

 

 The seminar was attended by representatives of the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment and the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta, and scientific experts from Institutes and Universities in the Vietnamese Mekong Delta.

The annual workshop within the framework of the project Living Deltas funded by the Global Challenge Research Fund of the Research Program Research and Innovation UK.
