On January 5, 2023, the Research Institute for Climate Change (DRAGON-Mekong Institute), Can Tho University honor welcomed Mr. Dominic Balasuriya – Consul (Economics), and Ms. Vu Ngoc Quyen, senior policy analyst of the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to visit and work with the DRAGON-Mekong Institute. From the DRAGON-Mekong Institute, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Van Pham Dang Tri, Director, and the institute's staff worked with the Australian Consulate General delegation.

 The meeting aimed to understand and discuss issues related to climate change impacts in the Mekong Delta region. On this occasion, the two sides also discussed seeking collaboration opportunities to carry out projects funded by the Australian Government, especially the project for transferring from scientific outputs to practical applications.
