On July 2nd 2013, the Research Institute for Climate Change – Can Tho University (DRAGON Institute) and Hau Giang Environmental Protection Agency started a project entitled “Climate Adaptation: Water harvesting in the Mekong Delta – A Case Study of Hau Giang Province” at Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang Province.
On June 10th 2013 the workshop on “Mainstreaming Climate Information Application for Enhancement of Agro-ecosystem Services and functions in the Mekong Basin” was held at the Hall of College of Environment and Natural Resources, Can Tho University and organised by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) in collaboration with University of Ruhuna (SriLanka), Sub Institute of Hydrometeorology and Environment of South Vietnam (IMHEN), and the DRAGON institute – Can Tho University.
The workshop held on October 9th, 2012 in Soc Trang province with the participation of representatives of departments, agencies and units as well as experts of DRAGON Institute, Can Tho university and Wageningen university.
