During the workshop, all participants have taken part in discussion sessions to look for possible cooperation in national, regional policies that could help to have action or cope with climate change; to find out best ways of collaboration and practices on climate change research; to search for ideas of expansion and multiplication of existing research as well as development of adaptation options; to identify knowledge of integration of climate change adaptation into urban sustainable development plan.
In addition, participants visited Water Supply Plant in Sumbaopu Gowa district, Wastewater Treatment Plant in Mandai (Biringkanaya) and other water supply facilities in Makassar Industrial Estate, Daya. The delegation also went to Bili-Bili Dam in Parangloe, agro-tourism (Agrowisata) area and traditional rice market.
