Research Institute for Climate Change (DRAGON-Mekong Institute) has been trying to carry out its mission as a focal point in the Mekong Delta for research and training related to the impacts of global climate change and sea level rise. In order to promote the potential and role in cooperation of domestic and foreign partners, a cooperating activity has been excited and developed by the DRAGON-Mekong Institute.

On May 6, 2023, the Research Institute for Climate Change and the Southern Environmental Monitoring Center agreed to cooperate in implementing actions toward sustainable economic development in the Mekong Delta for climate change adaptation. Resolution No.120/NQ-CP of the Government approving the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two sides. Accordingly, the Institute and Partner will jointly implement research topics and projects in the environment, build a database for forecasting and warning of the environment in the Mekong Delta, and implement relevant training activities.
